Adelante Mujeres Walking: para la vida, familia, y comunidad a photo voice project of Adelante

Join “Walking: para la vida, familia, y comunidad,” a photo voice project of Adelante Mujeres Adult Education Students. Over the last few months Adelante students worked with Oregon Walks, a pedestrian advocacy organization, to document their walking experience through photos and stories. They identified areas of need that make it challenging to walk and highlighted other areas where sidewalks, lighting, and safety are well maintained.

On June 12th from 6-7:30pm at the Forest Grove Farmers Market the students will present their photos and tell their stories of walking throughout Western Washington County. Please join us to celebrate their project, view the photos, and share your experience as a pedestrian.
