The Forest Grove Farmers Market is starting back up on May 7th, the Farmers Market is a common centerpiece of being a part of the Forest Grove community. We encourage Pacific Students to volunteer over the summer/fall. Come learn more about how to volunteer at the Farmers Market and even make a little money in the process!

Have extra time during finals weeks? Work for Give & Go! The McCall Center for Civic Engagement is still hiring for Give & Go, and we need a few more students to join the team for this short-term opportunity (May 10-18). Our preference is FWS we can also make NWS work as well.

May 3rd: Pacific University Powwow

The Indigenous Student Alliance is proud to host its second annual powwow in collaboration with the Beaverton/Hillsboro School District Indian Ed program. This year’s powwow will honor Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Persons. Attendees are encouraged to wear red in honor of our missing and murdered brothers and sisters.

May 3rd: Volunteer this Summer

If you love spending time in nature and are passionate about increasing access to the outdoors for all, consider volunteering with Adventure Without Limits (AWL) this summer. Come learn more and sign up for their volunteer orientation on May 3rd.

April 28th/29th: Phi Lambda Omicron x Red Cross Blood Drive

Phi Lambda Omicron Sorority will be hosting a two-day blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross! Help save lives and give back to the community by donating blood. Feel free to walk in on the day of the drive—everyone is welcome! he blood drive will take place on Monday, April 28th and Tuesday, April 29th from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM in the Multipurpose Room (MPR) at Pacific University. Volunteers are an integral part of hospice care. Whether it’s providing companionship to a person in the final months and weeks of life, or offering support to their family members and caregivers, the contributions of volunteers are essential to the hospice team. Bristol Hospice provides the training and supervision to support you in this valuable work.
