Peace and Justice Opportunities for recent grads

*The Young Adult Service Community of the United Church of Christ in Simsbury, CT has one remaining internship open for a mid-September to mid-August service year. Interns (ages 21-35) live together in intentional community on the church property, serve in non-profit organizations in Hartford (our remaining opening is working toward food security with Hands on Hartford), and partner with the congregation in exploring the intersection of faith and justice. Free housing, health insurance, a subsistence wage, and spiritual direction/discernment are all offered as part of this invitation. *The International Peacemaking Program is a fully-funded academic year of graduate study (living expenses included), interfaith living, and programming/learning directly related to peacemaking practices. Some of our funding is identity-connected, and we have two remaining openings for peacemakers who identify as Jewish. Candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s degree (they will receive a graduate certificate in interfaith dialogue), and can be from the U.S. or around the world.
