2018 Women Build Week

Area women and their families are invited to grab their hammers and volunteer during Women Build Week! This week is dedicated to include women on the construction site and highlight the homeownership challenges faced by women. This event is not meant to exclude men, but to include women.

Remember, NO construction experience is necessary; we’ll teach you everything you need to know day of!

We will be providing volunteers with coffee, a light breakfast, snacks, and lunch. Volunteers will also get an awesome Women Build t-shirt! We have also arranged for volunteers to sign-up for free Lowe’s “How-To” Clinics a few weeks before Women Build begins. Get a taste for what you’ll be doing on site! RSVP below.

This year, we are asking all volunteers to raise a minimum of $100 each, which will go towards our $30,000 goal. This will help us get closer to providing even more affordable housing in the Washington County area!

Women Build Week will be held at our neighborhood, Allen Estates. We are currently finishing up the last 3 of 24 homes. The neighborhood is located in Beaverton, OR. Once you have registered, you will be sent the build site address, parking address, and all other relevant information.

We are recruiting sponsor groups for May 5th, 9th, and 10th.

We are recruiting individual volunteers for May 12th.

We have AM (8:20am to 11:45pm) and PM (12:20pm to 4:00pm) shifts available, as well as all-day (8:20am to 4:00pm) shifts available.
