Volunteer Opportunity with Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon (CE credit available)

Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon, an anti-hunger advocacy non-profit organization, is looking for passionate students to support their SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) Application Assistance Program.

Volunteers will be working to increase awareness and assist seniors with the SNAP application process while gaining relevant community organizing, outreach, and social service experience.

Volunteers need to be available to meet a minimum of 2-4 hours per week time commitment for 4 months from April through July.

Students wishing to use this opportunity to fulfill the Civic Engagement (CE) Cornerstone requirement for CE Credit may pursue it as an independent CE project: Guide to Independent CE Projects and the The Center for Civic Engagement faculty and staff will be available to assist in the process.
