NW Outdoor Science School is seeking college and high school students to volunteer as Student Leaders to teach sixth-graders about environmental science. This opportunity will help you to develop many skills, including leadership, teamwork, and education. They provide a fully day of training and staff are on-site to offer support at all times. Being a Student Leader is a lot of fun, but what’s most rewarding is being able to facilitate an amazing learning experience for the 6th graders you’ll be leading.
Their Spring session runs from March 12th – June 2nd. Student Leaders are welcome to come for as many weeks as they are able to, as long as they feel it is a good fit. Contact Chad Stewart, Volunteers Facilitator, at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
