Come check out the new Pacific University Food Pantry! The mission is to provide current students, faculty, and staff with free food items regularly in a dignified environment that is welcoming and inclusive. The food pantry promotes food security, food and social justice, community, empowerment, and civic engagement to our Pacific University community.
Who will have access to the Food Pantry?
All students, faculty, and staff in Pacific’s undergraduate and graduate level programs will have access to the food pantry by presenting their Boxer ID to show that they are part of Pacific’s Community. They will also need to sign a liability waiver the first time they use the Food Pantry.
What does this resource provide?
Everyone who comes to the Food Pantry is able to take up to five items per week.
Where will the Food Pantry be located?
The Food Pantry will be run by the Center for Civic Engagement and will be located in Scott 216 right across from the elevator and the Center for a Sustainable Society.
When are we open?
We will be opening on November 9th and we will be open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11:30am-1:30pm and 3pm-5pm.
