Change Corps Training, Applications Due October 10th!

Change Corps is looking for graduating seniors who are passionate about getting change unstuck on the issues we care about most.

Change Corps is a salaried, one-year, full-immersion training program in grassroots organizing. In your year with Change Corps: You’ll make a real impact on issues like women’s rights, gun violence, immigration reform, voting rights, marriage equality and money in politics. You’ll get an amazing experience in the field, working on 3-5 different campaigns throughout the year in cities across the country. You’ll even get paid: Change Corps organizers earn $24,500, in addition to full paid group health care coverage, paid sick days and holidays, two weeks paid vacation, and a student loan repayment program for qualifying staff. And when you graduate from the program, you’ll be ready for what comes next: Change Corps will help connect you to progressive groups looking for full-time staff to build their organizations and help them create social change.

We are inviting 25 candidates to join the Change Corps class of 2016. We’re looking for people who are serious about social change, people who have taken initiative on their campus or community, and people who are willing to roll up their sleeves and work for change over the long haul.

If you think you’re one of those people, then submit your application to join the 2015-2016 class of Change Corps’ Training Academy for Activists. Applications are due Friday October 10, 2014. Change Corps’ yearlong program begins in August 2015 with Introductory Classroom Training, and continues with field placements in multiple locations across the country. Candidates must be willing to relocate. To apply, contact Ananda Tomas, Change Corps Organizer, at or at (575)937-4813.
