Talk to High School Students About College

NELA (Northwest Education Loan Association) wants to organize panels of current college student to come talk to high school students at NELA Mentor 2 College. The panels would be about an hour long, starting at 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday, on the week of April 15. The panel will be an informal Q&A with the high school students about what college is like.

All of the students in the NELA program are low-income, first generation, or students of color. NELA would like to have college students from a similar demographic to talk with them. Many of these kids are the first in their family to go to college, so they have questions ranging from what the dorm showers are like to how many hours you have to study. Come share your experiences with future college students!
