21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) at Neil Armstrong Middle School

The CCLC is an after school program focused on academic enrichment – specifically math and reading for those children who could use extra support. The program also has an activity-based component, and children are given time to play in structured games, enrichment classes and activities as well as take part in arts and crafts, baking, dancing and many other fun classes. The CCLC takes place Mon., Tues., Wed., and Thurs. from 2:45pm to 5:15pm. There are two back-to-back activity sessions each day that last about one hour each. Activities typically run in Mon. &Wed. or Tues. &Thurs. tracks. For example, dance would be every Mon. & Wed. during the first activity session from 2:45pm to 3:35pm.
