B Street farm is a partnership between Pacific University and Metro (a regional governing body). The site is less than a mile from campus, near the intersection of Gales Creek and B Street. The project is an emerging grassroots organization and demonstration site whose mission is to provide inspiration and information about environmentally sensitive, sustainable living practices. Site projects engage participants in community building, research, maintenance of the grounds and food production. Students volunteering at B Street should be prepared to engage in physical labor. Please contact Terry O’Day, faculty director of B Street, at email@example.com to arrange a community engagement placement.
